Objective

This project is part of the BunkerLogix Project, co-funded by the European Union for the development of a LNG bunkering supply chain in the Mediterranean basin of Spain, centred on the design of a vessel propelled with LNG in order to transport and bunker LNG to other vessels and onshore

Scope

The scope is divided in three developments:

  • Development of the Basic Engineering including General Arrangement, Naval Architecture, Seakeeping, Station keeping, CFD, Main Structure, Machinery Arrangement, Services and Systems, Calculation and Arrangement of Mooring, Electrical Balance, Rescue and Safety
  • Additional developments such as risk studies (Hazid & Hazop), Load/Unload Systems, Planning and Costs

LNG Cargo tanks

  • Two independent IMO type C cargo tanks
  • Volume: 2 x 5,000 m³

Propulsion plant

  • Main Natural Gas generator: 1 x 3,500 kW
  • Auxiliary Natural Gas generator: 2 x 1,460 kW
  • Auxiliary Diesel generator: 1 x 550 kW
  • 1 x controllable pitch propeller
  • 1 x bow thruster
