We normally use the naval architecture module inside FORAN for naval architecture calculations of vessels. However, when the geometry is not ship-shaped, as in a floating dock, or when buoyancy-weight interactions of two or more bodies are to be accurately calculated, we use our own tool: SeaSTABILITY.

SeaSTABILITY calculates the deterministic naval architecture of vessels, offshore platforms or floaters with geometries as complex as needed by taking advantage of the programming environment inside SolidWorks.
