Objective

Study of the transformation of the Ro-Ro Gran Canaria Car from conventional propulsion to gas fuelled propulsion by minimizing the impact in the transformation. This transformation study is part of the European Project BlueChange

Scope

Analyse the sizing of the tanks and the transformation/addition of needed services and systems through the following assessment:

  • Naval Architecture: stability, loading cases and LNG tanks location
  • Local structural analysis
  • Different possibilities for modifying the propulsion
  • Route
